EDM Sessions EP066 Full Audio STEMS
Episode 66 features our host Mikas making a Progressive House track from scratch using Logic Pro X and only its internal synthesisers and audio processors. It will be added as a Logic Pro X Template on our site along the other 5000 DAW Templates! We begin with composing a bassline in real time recording the key from Logic pro X musical typing, we then edit the result to make this bass a solid contender to any hot prog house track. We then create an organ track with some deep vibrato to begin building the groove. After adding a few more channels of transitional sounds the complete the roundness of the groove we add a second bass layer that had an acoustic feel to this song. Moving forward we program and edit additional percussion including the obvious tech block hits. Creating the song main lead is always challenging, while this type of music does not necessarily need one we still want to add to the template so you guys can enjoy more content. We finally settled on a brass sounding lead, the issue is that the lead is conflicting with the main bassline we already created! This progressive song is now taking a life of its own, we will move on and add more elements to match this new found direction. We add more dimension by composing a pad that had a vocal feel to it sitting atop the whole song. We complete this session by creating a main lead using a lead that pitch shift isfel. May the sounds be with you!New customer? Start Here.
